Teaching a merit badge class, running a badge day or hosting a merit badge university? Put it in front of Scouts and families who are searching right now. Registration stays on your site.

  1. Create a free account. As a person (counselor, leader) or an organization (council, troop, museum, camp). Confirm your email with a 6-digit code.
  2. Add your class. Badges, date, place, cost and your registration link. Multi-badge events can list every badge.
  3. We review it. A volunteer reviewer checks the details, usually within a few days, then it goes live.
  4. Scouts find it. Your class shows in search, on the calendar and map, and on its badge and city pages.

Does it cost anything?
Listing classes is free while we get started. We'll announce any change well ahead of time.
Do families register through Merit Badgy?
No. Every listing links to your registration page — sign-ups, payments and refunds stay with you.
Who can list a class?
Adults (18+) who teach or organize merit badge classes: registered counselors, unit leaders, councils, districts and partner organizations.
Can I change a class after it's live?
Yes. Edits go back to review and the class is hidden until a reviewer approves the changes. You can also take a class down any time.
